Why does hot saturated solution turn into a supersaturated solution on cooling??
Answers
Answer:
Because the solubility of most solids increases with increasing temperature, a saturated solution that was prepared at a higher temperature usually contains more dissolved solute than it would contain at a lower temperature. When the solution is cooled, it can therefore become supersaturated
Hello dear
When you heat a saturated solution the molecules of liquid acquires more kinetic energy and move away from each other eventually creating more place for solute to dissolved hence solubility increasing whereas on cooling molecules of liquid loses kinetic energy and come closer thereby pushing solute molecules to crystalize off the solution , hence solubility , hence solubility decreases .
OR
The More heat we supply in a saturated solution on the more will be its solubility . That mean the solution will be able to dissolve more solute .
