So as we go down the group atomic size increases which leads in the decrease of Hydration energy as compared to smaller sized atom
Main reason is that water molecules can surround more in small sized atom as compared to that of large sized atoms so automatically hydration energy of small sized atom will be more due to presence of more water molecules as compared to others.
