Why does hydrogen show dual nature?

Hydrogen has a dual nature due to the fact it only has a single electron in its outer shell.

Here's the answer...

Hydrogen show dual nature because it has only 1 electrone in it's K-shell.

i.e The outer most shell ,Hence it has the ability to take electrone ( like - halogens ) or lend 1 electrone ( like - Alkali metals ) thus it shows the propert.
