Why does ice float on water. Ice water is homogeneous?

Ice is solid and water is liquid. As we know that generally solid substance sinks in liquid, but instead of this ice floats on water because ice cubes have air vacuole in it, that's why, ice floats on water.....

Bro, Ice is solid whereas water is liquid , after freezing water into ice , small bubbles on the surface of ice are present which helps it flow
