Why does ice floats on water even though solids have more density than liquid ?
Plzzz be clear and easy in ur words.. Don't write it in complicated way.​

in water there is anomalous behavior it means that the density decreases when it decreases from 4 degree Celsius.so ice has less density hence it floats
