why does ice not deposit in the freezer equipped with defrosting technique. explain

Hi friend, Here is the required answer :-

ICE does not deposit because there is a heating element that melts off ice off the evaporater coil during the defrost cycle. The melt water runs down to a tube under the fridge and it evaporates. When the defrost cycle fails you will see ice in the freezer and the whole thing will stop working right.
