Why does incense stick's have white ash and looses colour when burned? Actually anything that burns has a change of coulour in the ash or the object itself(ex- when iron nail is burned it turns black), why?​

Here the incense stick is in solid phase,when it is burnt it directly turns into gaseous form jumping the liquid phase i.e solid to gaseous state so due chemical process between the flame i.e oxygen and the chemical which is in the incense stick the phase of the stick is changed.
