why does iron does not react with hot or cold water but reacts with steam

dear iron reacts with all the forms of water whether it is hot water cold water or steam water.........

magnesium reacts with hot water
Sodium and potassium reacts with cold water
calcium reacts with normal water
ferric and ferrous reacts with all the forms of water.......
