As the distance of earth to sun is 149.6 million km ....So sunlight takes approximately 8 min to reach our eyes

If helpful mark as brainliest and don't forget to hit the red hearty button of thanks...  :)

satharmohd6: so you are telling me that because of the distance between earth and sun the light takes 8 minutes? but can't light travel very fast?
S321: sir as the fixed speed of light is 3*10^8
Garhwals: Photons emmited from surface of sun need to travel across vacuum of space to reach our eyes
Garhwals: Therefore it takes 8 min and 20sec to reach our eyes
satharmohd6: oh i see
Garhwals: Ya u could

Oh okay I think you guys need an exact one ...well let's go then ..
It is because the distance between the sun and our green planet is very large even the fastest things takes 8 min

Speed = distance/ time
3 × 10^8 × 8× 60 = 1440 × 10^8 meters Hence this is proved that distance is 1440 × 10^8 meters.. Hence it takes 8 minutes. . well

What we see is actually .. Not true.. The space expands each and every .moment the gravity pulls each and every photon that's call dispersion there .. Gravity bends the light .. That's why we see Red shifts. .. And that's the reason why universe is getting reddish ..

If something happens I mean if sun disappears suddenly we won't be able to get any information thou you have many such artificial intelligence in space nothing can tell you that it is disappeared .. Untill THE stopwatch CLICKS 8 MIN .. You will observe everything for 8 min ..

satharmohd6: can you tell me more about it. i am very interested in this
satharmohd6: do we depend only on the wavelengths coming from the sun in our communication?
