Why does it take longer to cook at higher altitudes and why is maggi prferred to be cooked there?

When pressure decreases boiling point of a liquid also decreases .

The boling point of water is 100 degree Celsius but due to decrease in pressure the water starts to boil below 100 degrees which makes it difficult to cook food a higher altitude
