Our eye contains rods and cones.Cones r useful to indicate Color of the objects and rods r useful to indicate shape of the objects. Our pupil(internal part of the eye) will take some to adjust to the dim light. So it will take some time to see objects when u entered suddenly into cinema hall from bright sunlight.

Answer:
The pupil regulates and controls the amount of light entering into the eye. In bright sunlight, the size of the pupil is small but while we enter the cinema hall it takes some time for the pupil to adjust in size due to dim light.
