Answer:

In bright light our cornea is small, Cornea is the part of eye which allows the light to enter our eyes, when there is bright light, it is small and hence allows less light to enter in the eyes because that much light is enough to see

whereas when we are in the dark then the cornea is big to allow as much light as it is there to enter the eyes so that we can see.

Hence when we suddenly enters dim room from bright sunlight, our cornea is small and due to dim room and lack of light we are unable to see anything till the time cornea turns big which take a few minutes

Answer:

It takes some time to see objects in a dim room when we enter the room from bright sunshine outside because it takes some time for the small pupil of our eye to expand (make the pupil large) so that enough light can enter our eyes and we can see clearly.
