Why does it take some time to see surroundings
clearly in a dark cinema hall when a person enters
from brighter sunlight?

Answer:because when the amount of light entering the eye changes the pupil contracts and expands. For this contraction and expansion it takes some time. This is why it takes some time to see clearly
