Answer:

When one enters a dim lit room from bright sunlight, it takes some time to see the objects, due to the fact that, in bright sunlight the pupil of our eye is small. So, when we enter the dim lit room, very little light enters our eye and we are unable to see properly

Answer:

In bright light the size of the pupil is small to control the amount of light entering the eye.

When we enter a dim room, it takes some time so that the pupil expands and allows more light to enter and helps to see things clearly.
