lime water turn milky because it get reacts with oxygen and turn milky

Carbon dioxide turns like water milky due to the formation of insoluble calcium carbonate, CaCO3. Lime water turns milky when you go carbon dioxide through it on the reaction that a response that delivers a white precipitate happens.
