the most important day I remembered in all life is one of which my teacher, ANNE MANSFIELD SULLIVAN came to me . it was third of march 1887 three months before i turned seven . at the age of 19th months Helen contracted an illness that left her both deaf and blind. Her teacher ,Anne Sullivan , taught her sign language and braille . in later years she hwlped helen to learn how to speak . Helen Keller went on to become a renowed public sleaker . Throughout her life, she campained for women ' s suffrage , labour rights ,socialism , and other similar causes
