Civic sense, unlike largely believed, isn't restricted to having the courtesy of cleaning after yourself in public spaces and forming queues; it also encompasses our day to day interactions with all kinds of people—rich and poor, this and that faith, this and that sex etc. I believe that if we pull over the curtains of diversity a bit, these kinds of interactions are revealed in all their macabre glory—Indians coexist not because they love their neighbour but because things exist that way. If given a choice, a Hindu and Muslim would like to stay in segregated communities.
