Answer: Light bend more when it travels from air to glass rather than air to water because of refraction differnce between the mediums.

we know that sin i/sin r =1/refractive index......

so the more the bending of light... more must be the value of sin r...........and more the value of refractive index

so a light ray in glass(having higher refractive index than glass) undergoes refraction with a larger angle (r)
