why does light weighted things take time to get attracted by gravity than heavy weighted things.? This is my own question​

Therefore, when both objects are dropped from the same height and at the same time, the heavier object should hit the ground before the lighter one

Answer: because gravity is a type of force(non contact) and our weight is there just because of gravity. Gravity makes a pull and just because of that light weighings take time to get attract.
