why does lysosomes perform the functions of changing the cell.​

Lysosome defend the cell by killing or digesting foreign material or antigens entering the cell. They digest food in the cell with the help of their hydrolytic enzymes. They also eat up worn out or dead organelles in the cell, thus cleaning it.

they perform this function of changing the cell because..

due to a damage at any part of cell,the cell may get multiplied uncontrollably and thus leading severe consequences like cancer....
