According to Mandela, freedom is something that is indivisible. The chains on any of his individual are putting a chain on all the people. He is a courageous and brave man who fought for the freedom of African people after seeing the sacrifices that are made by their people.

Answer:

Mandela addressed the freedom as 'new born baby' because Africa had long been under the regime of 'apartheid'. After a long struggle, the blacks won a glorious victory under Nelson Mandela. The end of racial discrimination was a common victory for justice, peace and dignity. It confered the glory and hope to new born liberty.

Hope it helps..!! ^_^
