According to Mandela, freedom is something that is indivisible. The chains on any of his individual are putting a chain on all the people. He is a courageous and brave man who fought for the freedom of African people after seeing the sacrifices that are made by their people.

Mandela addressed the freedom as 'new born baby' because Africa had long been under the regime of 'apartheid'. After a long struggle, the blacks won a glorious victory under Nelson Mandela. The end of racial discrimination was a common victory for justice, peace and dignity. It confered the glory and hope to new born liberty.
