TheMathura refinery release chemicals like sulphur which rise into the atmosphere, mix with rain and oxygen and cause acid rain which corrodes the marble of Taj Mahal. This causes yellowing of Taj Mahal

As refinery process involves emission CO2 and other gases. These gases mix in atmosphere and react with white marble as result of which Taj Mahal is becoming yellow.
