mawsynram in meghalaya receive the highest rainfall in the world because of the seasonal distribution precipitation amounts in the seasonal distribution. and bcoz precipitation is mistly in the form of rainfall and snowfall in the upper parts of himmalaya. and because the area of meghalaya has more precipitation than others thats why it receives the highest amount of rainfall..
