When females hit the puberty and become sexually matured then after each 28 days either ovary releases an egg when egg comes to uterus by fallopian tube uterus prepares itself and develops a cushion of blood caplliaries so that foetus can get nutrition and egg in uterus wait for sperm to get fused and fertilised for 2-4 days but if there is no sperm it sheds off through vagina with egg and thick layer of blood caplliaries. This causes bleeding in women which is called menstruation.
