》Mensuration occurs when the egg is not fertilized. Every month the uterus prepare itself to receive a fertilized egg. To nourish the embryo it's lining becomes thick and spongy. In case the egg is not fertilized this lining breaks and discharge out of the body throigh vagina in the form of blood. This is referred to as mensuration.

Mensuration is the time of uterine bleeding in which an unfertilized egg and the thick uterine lining. It occurs through vagina as blood and mucus. It lasts for about 2-3 days.
