bcos female humans have an ability to produce new young ones as an offspring ....so human female's have a blooded lining & it breaks down every month ....blood lining's function is to provide nutrition to the baby but if there is no pregnancy then female have a break down of this layer....

this break down of blood lining lasts for 5 to 9 days....

there is a pain in abdomen during menstruation....
