why does metal bell rings loudly by pressure then if we use alternative materials of wood why doesn't it rings?

Answer:

Bells are made from metal because when two metals are strike each other produce sound when wood style wood does not produce sound.

metals are sonorous but non metals are not sonorous that's why I bell from made up of produce sound and sound does not produce by wood because it is non metal.
