Milk is a colloid
and colloids have suspensions of small particles which can scatter light falling on them therefore this phenomenon of tyndall effect takes place. :)

Milk is a colloidal solution. The particles of a colloidal solution are large enough to scatter a beam of light through it which makes it's path visible. This shows that milk shows Tyndall Effect.
