Why does milk spoil more easily in summer than in winter when it is left outside?

ln summer, due to high temperature, the microbes easily ferment milk sugar lactose into lactic acid, which causes spoiling of milk............. So this is the reason the milk gets easily curdle during summer than winter as the spoilage bacteria are getting favourable temperature during summer to grow.
