Why does milkiness of lime water disappears when excess of CO2 is passed through it.....

When this CO2 gas is passed to the r prepared lime water ,carbon dioxide reacts with lime water to form a white precipitate of calcium carbonate.

Therefore limewater turns milky


If excess of CO2 is passed through it the milkiness of lime water disappeared.
