- During summer season, the sun move towards north. So the sun mostly falls on the northern region and heats the air.
- During summer, the dry air prevails in northern region and causes less pressure.
- The summer gives dry, strong and gusty wind.
- At the end of the month of May, low pressure belt develops from Thar Desert (north western part of India) to Patna.
- Thus, minimum air pressure develops in the Thar Desert.
