why does mole fraction have no unit??

The mole fraction of any component in the solution is equal to the total no. of moles of that component divided by the total no. Of moles of all components……..as its a fraction of components. So its units gets cancel out and hence its unitless

Mole fraction =number of moles of one component÷totalnumber of moles of all the component.that means it is the ratio of same quantity that is moles so it get cancelled out the units.
