moon doesn't change its shape ......

it appears that way . being a non luminous body , it has no light of its own ... it shines bcoz of the sunrays falling on it ... when a part of sunrays that reaches the moon is blocked by Earth , that particular part remain dark while the other parts of it shine . so it appears to change its shape daily

• The moon revolves around the earth. The earth along with the moon revolves around the sun. We can see only that part of the moon from which the light of the sun is reflected toward us, which makes it seem as if the moon changes the shape.
