Why does mrs. Slater decide to shift the bureu from her fathers room before the arrival of the jordans ? How does henry react to the suggestion?

When Mrs Slater confirmed that the Grandfather is dead she very firstly decided to shift the bureau from grandfather's room . She decided it because she was always wanting the bureau in her room , so , after the death of the grandfather she shifted it to her room . The another reason is that she was not wanting to make partition of that bureau from Mrs Jordan . Henry was not in the favour of her , he was advising her that "please wait for the jordans to come and divide everything solemnly after the mourning of Grandfather( Abel Merryweather) .
