why does Mumbai receive more rainfall in summer season while Chennai receives rainfall in winter?

Mumbai receives rain from Arabian sea branch whereas chennai lies in in rainshadow area thus it receives less rainfall than mumbai

Mumbai receives more rainfall bcoz it lies in the windward slope while Chennai doesn't lie in the windward slope and receives less rainfall than mumbai
