In horse and two goats written R.K Narayan , there was a poor old men and women living under a poor house made of bamboo thatched roof , straw and mud , etc. Fortune of Muni declined drastically in those drought days and he had to starve for luxurious food . Muni would eat salted millet cooked into a little ball along with a raw onion. He was expecting a miracle food because he craved to chew drumsticks out of sauce the same morning. Store was empty so she told Muni to get dhall , chilly , potato , mustard , gingelley , coriander and curry leaves but the shopman refused to give anything in credit so he returned home without anything .
