why does muscle fatigue occurs after rigorous

When you perform a rigorous exercise, your body muscles get strained due to lack of energy which is prepared when you have oxygen...

Hence, to give you energy, your cells perform anaerobic respiration which produces energy in little quantities and also lactic acid. This lactic acid is responsible for muscle fatigue.
