Why does my laptop run out of battery when I restart it even though it was above 50%?

Answer:

Because This is a fairly common problem, and it's usually caused by the Connected Standby feature. Then, some say that laptop battery self-discharges. This is a cause of an improper shutdown and can be fixed by pressing and holding the Power button to turn off the device completely
