why does non-stick cookware attrack food,what was the name of that layer will be present on the cookware?

A non-stick surface is a surface engineered to reduce the ability of other materials to stick to it. Non-stick cookware is a common tool, where the non-stick coating allows food to brown without sticking to the pan. .the layer which is present on the coockware is polymer coating.

it had coating of polymer named as polytetrafluoroethylene
