why does not current flow through the conductor if electric field is not applied???​

because without the electric field the electrons can't move in an ordered motions hence there will be no current without the motion of elelctrons

The current donot flow through the conductor if electric field is not applied because the electrons will not move if it is not applied resulting in absence of current ...
