why does not light get split while passing through rectangular glass slab

coz in prism there is a angle that each colors are form that is angle of deviation bt in glass slab there is lateral displacement which is perpendiculsr btw two rays are found
since imaginary angle of deviation formed
so, that the light passing to glasd slab doesnot splits into its seven colors
