Why does nothing happen when you put green solution in copper

Maybe you are saying that the green solution is Fe2SO4 solution.


Then taking it to be the case,

As Fe is is more reducing than Cu and more reactive as per reactivity series.

Hence won't be able to substitute Fe from its solution. The reaction won't proceed.
