The main bones in the abdominal region are the ribs. The rib cage protects vital internal organs like heart,lungs and stomach.
THAT'S ONLY ENOUGH TO PROTECT OUR STOMACH BECAUSE OF FOLLOWING REASONS
- If there were bone in the stomach there would be no room for expansion of uterus to house a baby
- Another thing, we wouldn't be able to bend over with hard bones covering the abdomen!
