Why does of Arabian Sea branch give little rainfall to Rajasthan.

Western Rajasthan receives no rain from the Arabian sea branch of the SW monsoon beacause the Aravalli range is parallel to the direction of SW monsoon as a result it is unable to obstruct the monsoon wind hence not receiving any rain from the Arabian sea branch .
