why does OLED TV screens use organic materials to emit liht?​

electricity is applied through them . Sansui LED do not require a backlight and filters like LCD displays do they are more efficient simpler to make an much thinner

OLED pannels are made from organic materials that emmit light when eletricity is aplied through them. Since OLEDs do nat requre back light or filters(like LCDs display do ),they are more efficient, simpler to make, and much thinner-and infact can be made flexible and even rollable
