Reason why Constitution uphold the ideal of Socialism:

Socialism in India was amended in the $20^{th}$ century in the constitution. Indian constitution had described socialism which has many meanings and statements were quite open. Socialism was a crucial part of the Indian Independence Movement. Socialism stands for socio-economic equality beyond any caste, color, creed, and religion. Discrimination of man and woman was the main concern of socialism.  

Ideals of Socialism are as below.

• Beyond any caste and creed.

• Principle of equality to be followed.

• Abolishing discrimination of sexes.
