During cold there is vasoconstriction and after exercise there is vasodilation.
Explanation:
- Due to vasoconstriction the amount of the blood that is allowed to reach the skin is decrease. In addition to this there is also increase in the amount of blood flow to the skin by vasodilation.
- As a result of this due to excess amount of blood moving close to our skin our face looks red after doing vigorous exercise. However as the blood vessels are constructed there will be lesser amount of blood making us look pale during cold.
