Our mouth waters and make saliva when we smell or see food is because our body is getting excited by detecting through our nose and eye. It triggers the brain to send out signals that trigger the saliva glands to react by watering.

Hola!
Saliva is the factor that makes our mouth water at the sight or even thought of a food. Saliva starts the process of digestion even before we swallow the food. It helps in tasting and chewing the food.
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF SALIVA:
» Mucous
» Serous
IN THIS CASE THE SEROUS SALIVA WATERS OUR MOUTH WITH THE THOUGHT OR SMELL OF THE FOOD.
