Why does our mouth water when we see our eat a food which we really like

Answer:

Most of the saliva helps breakdown all the starch and other compounds to sugars. So whenever you see and smell some delicious food your brain which is really smart perceives you will eat it and hence asks the salivary glands to release the saliva in advance which we call mouth-watering.
