the first and the basic reason behind giving them diffrent jobs is the conservative thought that is till prevailing in the minds of the society. While assigning a job people give the more priority to the gender rather than ability and skill because they thunk that man can do better work than women and women are usually better in doing the household chores. Usually men are paid more than that of women for work.
